"When Im not singing or mom-ing I fix cars"
I have been singing all of my life and was asked to be in
the chorus as soon as I turned 21. In the midst of having
my 2 beautiful children I have been a part of Shining Wheel
Pagan Chorus since 2003. When Im not singing or mom-ing
I fix cars, I read everything I can get my hands on and I
look for new ways to expand my knowledge. For now that includes
making web pages and learning to play the guitar and bass.
My musical influences have included Heart, Aretha Franklin,
Melissa Ethridge, Evanescence and Martina Mcbride. My music
is my truth-there is no holding back how I feel when it comes
to music. Oh, and one more thing-I ROCK!!

Better late than never.
aka Eric of the East aka Phire Wunjo - resident clown and
ham. (Okay I'm not the only one, but I am the best!)
Ive been singing since I was a youngling in the elementary
school Christmas pageant. In high school, singing in the yearly
musical was one of my greatest joys. Shortly after finding
Paganism I attended a Shining Wheel Pagan Chorus concert and
knew that this was what I wanted to do!
Over the years since that first concert, I have attended other
Shining Wheel concerts, Ive performed with a shadow
cast of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, Ive done a play
and a musical at a community theater, and I have even co-organized
a Pagan Festival which featured Shining Wheel as the musical
special guest.
Ten years after that fateful concert I have finally reached
my goal! I was invited to join the Chorus.

Nahani Gorsira
"It's good to be the Queen!"
Voted most likely to take her shirt off during the recording
of the first CD. Nahani has been with us since the beginning,
doing the Gemini flitting in and out depending on where she
was living, sometimes the hills of Tennessee, but most often
in the Tampa Bay. Nahani is the bay leaf in our vocal harmonies,
you aren't quite sure what she is adding but you know without
her there is definitely something missing.
Michael Johnson
"The Spirits direct me and I take it from there....."
Michael has been writing and playing music for 3 decades from
Northern California to New England and as far south as Florida.
"The Spirits direct me and I take it from there....."
has been his mantra and motivation both musically and spiritually.
Guitar is his preferred instrument and his eclectic sense
of timing makes drummers very happy.

Disrupting personal narratives is one of my services
I guess you had to be there
. I am the birth mother of
this chaos although a bit squeamish about taking responsibility
for it. Not that I get an option
thats what I love
about Wicca, no Devils to blame my behavior on.
Its all on me, baby. My musical influences have been
Fleetwood Mac, Pat Benatar and Robert Plant. I have been Wiccan
for 30 years and a Priestess for 20 of those (la de da-no
tea and crumpets for me.) Shining Wheel Pagan Chorus has enables
me to leave a happy legacy to my community in the form of
awesome songs of energy dedicated to the God and Goddess (and
to personal growth of course!)

I’m Not Short, I’m Fun-Sized
I am truly blessed to have been raised in a home of music-loving
wannabe hippies named Jack & Diane ( NO I AM NOT KIDDING THOSE
ARE REALLY MY PARENTS NAMES ) and I began my musical journey
at the ripe old age of 2. I am most influenced by Ann Wilson,
Stevie Nicks, Janis Joplin, Carole King, Chrissie Hynde, and
Pat Benatar. I was introduced to Shining Wheel Pagan Chorus
when I moved to Florida. They left a very good and lasting
impression on me. (Ok let's be blunt here folks, they are
kinda unforgettable and they know it *LOL*) I was asked to
audition & join Shining Wheel in the Summer of 2011 and it's
been a whirlwind of fun and musical excellence ever since!
When I am not singing with the band I take care of my amazing
husband Ron, our furkids, and work at an awesome Witch Shop!
I have been a proud Pagan Witch for 22 years and I have a
deep emotional connection with crystals and stones.

You Sing Now
I have been an audio engineer for how long? 10 Years?...as
well as a singer/songwriter/musician. I have extremely eclectic
musical tastes, and I am influenced by everything, even sounds
that arent music. I got to Wicca sideways, though drumming,
Mickey Hart, Tom Robbins, and Robert Heinlein. I have always
had a Pagan Pantheistic world-view, but didnt know what
it was called. I discovered the Tampa Bay area Pagan community
in my mid/late 20s, and after solitary tinkering for
a while I finally found a home and a wonderful family of fellow
freaks in Shining Wheel Coven. I get a sense of personal power
from my spiritual path that doesnt have to be power
over, as well as moments of extreme fear which typically
lead to breakthroughs, growth, and personal evolution. Sometimes
I do my best growing through moments of extreme public embarrassment
which also leads to transformation. As the Chorus musical
director, one of the things I get off on is throwing new challenges
at people and watching them quickly rise above and meet my
expectations. This is truly a great crew.

Now, If we could just get me to shut up!
Blissfully married to the love of my life, momma to our own
little Sun God, and staff to 2 feline Gods, Ive been
singing and playing music in some form or fashion for as long
as I can remember. Lyrically Im influenced in some way
by nearly everything, right down to my sons bubbling laughter;
vocally my influences run from Etta James and Carole King
through Heart and Pat Benatar and Joan Jett (and everything
in between). I never had much spiritual/religious upbringing
and did a lot of searching before tripping over the Pagan
path Id been walking all along. Singing with Shining
Wheel is a laid back but bliss-inspiring experience, perfect
for finding the God and Goddess within and Giving them voice
(they
dont call me the Goddess of Communication for nothing!)
